Dr. Lexx Brown-James, LMFT, CSE, CSES
Dr. Lexx Brown-James, LMFT, CSE, CSES is your favorite sex therapist favorite sex therapist. Her work through The Institute for Sexuality & Intimacy, LLC is grounded in healing through #shamefreesexed from womb to tomb. Dr. Lexx is also a keynote and media speaker with discussions taking place across the world with places like The Women’s Fund of Omaha, Sex Down South, Healthy Teen Network, The National Sex ed Conference and presentations across multiple conferences.
Dr. Lexx is an accomplished published author in the areas of sex positive education, treating marginalized identities, healing racial trauma, working with relationships, and supporting medical professionals in sexuality medicine. Her book The Black Girl’s Guide to Couple’s Intimacy and her Relationship Tune Up card deck are bestselling tools for relationship support and intimacy building.
To volunteer and give back, Dr. Lexx is the first elected Black woman president of The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). In this organizational role Dr. Lexx supports the professional development of sexuality professionals across the field.

Nick Marzo MS, LPC, LMHC, CST-S, ACS
Nick Marzo, MS LPC, LMHC, CST-S, ACS (he/him/Sir) is a Professional Counselor Supervisor, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist-Supervisor, educator, and consultant. Nick’s career has spanned 25 years in community behavioral health, administrative oversight, and private practice. He is the founding owner of Modern Path, a group psychotherapy and holistic wellness practice in Atlanta, GA. Modern Path is a place where people who live and love outside of the box are able to access therapy, sex education, and intimacy coaching in a way that minimizes the power in the room, fostering trust and vulnerability. No longer providing direct care, Nick’s focus is supervising and mentoring clinicians, serving as the AASECT Ethics Advisory Committee Chairperson, providing consultation and training, and serving his personal and professional communities. Nick’s experiences are informed at the intersection of being a middle-aged, trans masculine, genderqueer, thrice gifted, consensually non monogamous Leatherman, a single birth parent, and an all-around passionate and magical guy who has resided in East Coast metro areas his entire life.
