The following are the objectives for this class:       

• Understand the importance of cultural competency when working within Geek Culture
• Define the basics of grief and loss, including types, “stages”, and processes of grief
• Describe at least 2 unique experiences of grief/loss in Geek Culture
• Identify at least 3 touchpoints for grief representation in Geek Culture Media
• Explore grief in the context of Geek Culture Media (video games, Discord, etc.)
