Workshop Description
This foundational workshop is designed for supervisors and supervisors in training who want to strengthen their evaluation and remediation skills. In this workshop learners will be introduced to evaluation tools that can be used across disciplines, how and when to apply them. We will then discuss common themes developing counselors and therapists display based on the most recent research available. Lastly we will discuss remediation options and how to apply them at the intersection of values based supervision and the skills required for license and certification purposes.
This training is supported by peer reviewed research and Nick’s 21 years of experience supervising folks for license, certification, and multi-disciplinary treatment team involvement. The contents of this workshop are not limited to professional counselors. Supervision roles and functions are extremely similar across disciplines and levels of education, licensing, and certification.
This training may be used to acquire the necessary supervision training for state and national certifications as a supervisor. Please check your certification body for requirements and restrictions.
